Default eliminating cats

i have an 07 gt shelby NOT the 500. my question is, is it possible to eliminate the catalytic converters by buying an x pipe and just replacing the first section of the pipe that has the cats instead of replacing the back half of the x pipe also? i dont want to have to replace the whole x pipe, just looking at an easy way to eliminate the cats with the off road portion of the x pipe. is this possible? and if im correct there are 4 o2 sensors which ones will i need to turn off and will i need a tuner for that or is there another way around that? where are the 4 o2 sensors located are there 2 in the manifolds and 2 in the x pipe behind the cats? thanks for any responses and great website.
