That's what Anthem Motors here in Arizona wanted! 9@$95.
AMP Performance here in Arizona wanted $850 for parts + install. And the guy on the phone warned about gear whine, saying it's common, just how the car car and suspension are setup. Made me worry, as some have had no whine at all! Why oh why do Arizona shops suck so bad.

Are you in phx? Consider taking a drive down to Tucson and having them done at Tucson Differential. These guys are awesome and working on differentials is all they do.

That being said its true, they aren't a performance shop, but they definately know what they're doing. Give em a call and get a quote.

Tucson Differential quote at $650 for parts and labor. I asked him which brand they use and he said Ford Motorsport, that's not the same as FRPP is it?

Mine cost almost 900 dollars parts and labor by a mustang shop so if they spend that much time on it then they are doing the job with great care I would assume. By the way my gears whined from the factory a little bit. Now with the change it's about the same. I wouldn't trade anything for my gears they are killer.[sm=badbadbad.gif][sm=badbadbad.gif][sm=badbadbad.gif][sm=badbadbad.gif][sm=badbadbad.gif][sm=badbadbad.gif][sm=badbadbad.gif]

$650 is right in the ballpark for parts and labor. Yes FRPP=Ford Racing Performance Parts.
