Default SCT tuner installed

I'm pretty sure I did it right but want to check I'm clueless at times. I was on the 91 tune and just changed it to 87 want to see how it runs on that tune. Here is what I did

1. select tune 87
2. turn key on
3. optional parameters = no
4. keep previously entered options = yes
5. program = select

Then it went into checking stock calibration & earasing module

Program loaded select and turn key off

bobsmileie I totally worded this wrong I want to make sure I did it correctly 1st time changing it. Anyways it was correct and didn't see much difference between the tunes. The performance I have with the tunes are way better than stock it may be me but I see I can shift at a higher rpm with no engine strain. Feels faster and gas milage is better if I stay off the gas. A little low engine idle on start up in the morning. I'm happy with it I now want more power.

Didn't take long to catch the Mod bug, I do have 1 concern with the set up. When I turn the car off it I noticeda short burst of air like a release valve going off. It's a air burst that's about 1/2 second long any idea what this is or is it normal with the JLT.

Thats your open intake farting when you turn the car off. heeeheeee. If you ping, go one tune down with one octane higher. pinging will stop. Ex. 87 tune - 89 gas. Brenspeed told me the diff. in hp between 87 and 93 tune is marginal. congrats !

Not worried about gas mileage just noticed not much of a change, as for the drone @ 2500 nope no drone smooth sound I don't recall saying anything about that. ezio350 & hammeronthanks for your comments. Over all I made the right choice on the JLT and SCT Tune AND yes I will be going back to the 91 tune just wanted to see the difference if any between the 2 tunes. Thanks everyone for you comments.
