Which tuner is better the SCT or DIABLO? and Why?

they're basically identical in proformance gains. there is no which tuner is " better." all depends on what you want. both can be customized, but sct doesn't come with "generic" tunes preloaded, on the other hand diablo does. thats the difference pretty much.

i went with diablo and i got MAFIA with it. customed tuned though....

Actually, there are SCT tuners that come pre-loaded with tunes. They're called the Strategy flash device. The X-cal's actually come blank, and the shop you are buying it from has pre-loaded it for you.

You're best bet is to find out what your local tuning shop prefers. I went with SCT because Wild Pony motorsports is an SCT dealer, and that's what Derrin specializes in. They also seem to be in greater circulation. With any parts I buy I think ahead about customer service issues down the road. Which will be around? Which do more people deal with?

I went with SCT. It depends though because places like B ama chips will sell you custom tunes (who i have heard are VERY VERY good) already loaded on a predator tuner... I am pretty sure that you can still download the tunes off of websites and it works for either tuner. Like Arwing said.... flip a coin?
