to maximize perfomace buy a tune as well. other than that buy the K&L for like 10-14hp

by the way have you been introduced to the search function. there are hundreds of threadsabout this...

Type in "air intake" to the search function.

I went C&L street intake with a 93 octane tune.....best way to go

I went with the Steeda w/ elbow and a SCT tune from b chips and I'm very pleased. The Steeda was $10 more expensive than others but I liked the stainlness steel air box and the way the intake assembly bolted to the air box. Just a matter of preference on my part. I had a no-tune inake from GMS, it worked OK but compared to a tune, it's a world of difference!

I've got the JLT and have no complaints. I doubt you'll see much of a difference from any of the popular ones described here. Everyone is naturally going to come in here and recommend whatever they are running. The tune is important regardless. My advice would be to buy a tune+intake kit from Brenspeed or B ama, etc.

No complaints with my airiad but cannot compare to stock since mine came with the car. I'm looking into tuning it but have some superficial mods first like window tint, Roush front faciaand an axleback exhuast thinking of Borla or Magnaflow.

i have the airaid,i could tell a little difference,i have the predator right now with just the performance tune that came with it,when i get the chance,i want to call bama chips and get their race tune,i heard it really wakes the car up.

It is possible to run a C&L intake without a tune, they have an insert that you slip in. That way if you ever decide to get a tune (you should), all you have to do is remove the insert.
