WOW...Dealer gave me a good quote on gears
I could not believe it.....I just got a quote from a local ford dealer.....on 3.73 ford racing gears (it is the new ones made by Ford not motive) for the gears...bearings and shims plus install it is a pretty reasonable $550.....I was pretty surprised.....so obviously I went ahead and scheduled for my install in June...could not pass it up....comes with 12 months 12,000 mile warranty....so what the heck...could not pass it up...now to wai until June......thats the hard part....

Crikey! My local dealer here in Texas gave me a quote of $920 parts and labor [:@] I laughed out loud as I walked away.. For the difference in price I could afford to drive to Tampa and have the gears done!

do you think they do this in all the dealerships? i mean shure its no big deal for their technitians probably do it all day, but do they sell the FRPP 4.10, 3.73, etc.?
