I've got to hand it to Brent @ Brenspeed. He puts out an awesome tune. This is the second S197 that I've had tuned by him. I think I pulled a muscle in my face from the wide-*** grin I had the first time laid into it in my new auto. When I heard that chirp in 3rd, I nearly wet myself. So, of course I had to try again just to make sure it wasn't a fluke. It's no fluke.

The car shifts firm now; unlike stock. My favorite past-time now is merging onto the interstate. Here in Indiana we have a lot of "spaghetti bowl" on-ramps; the kind where you have to take a big long curve before you merge onto the interstate. So, whenever I've got open room, I just punch it when I get to the top of the curve. I almost always get the chirp on the 2-3 shift then. If you're not ready for it, you might snap your neck.

I've seriously considered getting Doug's tunes, just to compare the to. But, I can say without a doubt that I am thoroughly happy with Brenspeed's tunes.

I'm not sure what yours will do but I lose the back end completely when it shifts to 3rd under WOT. It started doing that with the TC and 4:30.

when you say shifting, are you literally shifting the car? or does the automatic (in drive position) chirp the tires on its own...?
With the car in drive, the car will chirp the tires when shifting from 2nd to 3rd under WOT.
Yeah, mine's with the stock 3.31s. I can't even imagine how you control it with 4.30s. I'm thinking of going 3.73 soon. I'm interested to see how it does then.

I have the 3.73. How does the lower gear ratio affect how the car drives? (or chirps tires)?
