I just noticed a very small puddle of oil around one of the spark plug boots and also a tiny bit of oil just below one of the valve cover screws. This might be a stupid question but is there anywayoil could have got past the spark plug?...I got into it pretty hard the other day like bounced it off the rev limiter. Or do you think its a leaking valve cover. I sure dont see where it could be coming from. Thanks for the comments in advance...Vic

i have the same problem, my valve covers gaskets are leaking. too i confirmed here at the dealership i work (mazda) and the service ride told me the warranty has has to cover every leak. so im going to make an appmt for next week at a ford service department see if they can fix it. dont know if this is common on this cars.

only thing that leaked on my car was the oil filter, but it was leaking because I overtightened it.

I suppose it could be the aftermarket valve cover(steeda powdercoated)...

Very possible, had the same problem on on of my fox's with bbk's.
Leaked b/c they didn't fit right w/ the afr's.
