F/I and Traction

RE: F/I and Traction
Oh come on... I know with all the people running super chargers someone has to have some advice on this.. Im looking at the Paxton kit from Brenspeed. The only thing holding me back, im worried about traction and driveability. If you watch the video's on Brenspeed's website the car is all over the place and makes a big smoke show. What good is having 400+ rwhp if you cant launch??

Im not F/I but but run a 75 shot with other bolt ons including the LCA's and relocate brackets. I can launch at 4500 on the bottle with DRs and not spin. My clutch doesn't like it though.

RE: F/I and Traction
There's not a street legal tire out there, that will offer sufficient traction from a stop, once you get beyond a certain rwhp. There are no driveability issues with any of the superchargers out there, that I've noticed from posts, as long as you remember that the mustang you started off with is not the same vehicle once it's FI. There's a learning curve. You're not bumping up the hp by 30 or 50 but maybe 150 or even 250+. What I have noticed is that there is a trade-off between track use and streetability. My car is defnitely less user-friendly and less comfortable now (inside is going tubular in a couple of weeks)but it doesn't have to be that way. Slap on a supercharger...get about 400 rwhp...you probably won't aggravate the engine or other stock parts....gas mileage will be relatively unaffected and traction issues will be minimal with a few extra bits and pieces.
