Default Shorty Headers Question

I have been told by many people that shorty headers dont give much hp maybe only 5-8 but i also heard that they give better sound or make your car a little louder. Is this True?

try BBK tuned length headers.....they're technically shorter, but the primaries are different lenghts so that the exhaust pulses enter the collector at seperate times.

A deeper, echoing noise that at WOT and higher RPM's really make a difference. A little louder but not much. It seemed to have more resonation at idle and really gave it more of a muscle car sound.

I have thebbk tuned length ceramic coatedshorty headers and I like them alot. I also have abassani x-pipe w/high flow cats running into a set of
magnaflow mufflers and it sounds real raspy at high rpms and at idle it is a bit louder also.So in my opinion I would go with the BBK headers. ( I hope I could be some help)

Is the driver side O2 sensor in the header itself? because the O2 sensor on the driver side is in the stock exhaust manifold. Im going to go with the BBK shorties.

go with lt headers, gives a nice deep roaring muscle car sound, plus around 15-20 hp depending on your tune.
stick with the good names... kooks, dynatech ARH, JBA all are good
