may i ask if your car was a manual or auto tranny? same thing happened to a co-worker of mine and he totalled his car. he recently bought a new car with a manual tranny. he says there's no way he could fall asleep while driving now cause it's a manual. i told him he was wrong.
I think he's wrong too, while manuals are more engaging to drive and I can see where he's coming from. There are plenty of times in my small 6 mile commute where I'm just going a few miles w/o changing gears. Could easily fall asleep during that time if you were in a situation where you were falling asleep.

Either way, glad to hear you're ok to the original poster.

I fell asleep once driving a manual(missed entire side of a cassette tape), glad your alright car can be replaced

im pretty sure its totalled...the motor would turn over but not start...the passenger door is a good 4 inches out of alignment....plus i got everything off but the exhaust cause i thought my mechanic just bolted it on but insted he welded it....so tomorrow we might go cut it off....not sure yet though

haha there are two good wheels.....i mean like most of the drivers side is untouched.....but i dont think the insurance company would like me just leaving them a frame :-p
