AR Headers ? plus mustang wave
Hello you all.. I am looking to get the American Racing LT headers with Cats does any1 have experiece with these any issues? what kind of gains do you guys usually see? as well as are they any clearance issues especially since i will upgrade handling as my next mod. I was also looking into the Kooks but i am leaning more towards the AR's. Also I saw a thread on how some people with mustangs wave at other mustangs, I went out driving yesterday and I tried this NO ONEwaved back i think its my area a lot of snotty people.

Eh, I don't think most people who own the car, don't quite have the passion as the rest of us. I try and wave to people all the time. Either they don't see it, see it too late to react, or just find it silly... I did get one return wave once, which was nice.

Most people that wave have modded Mustangs and are enthusiatic about them. The ones that don't wave aren't "stangers". I wave at most GTs and above and usually get a response back. A lot of time people aren't paying attention and are just looking straight ahead.

RE: AR Headers ? plus mustang wave
AR LT's and high flow cats will be fine and have no clearance issues from the ground. It may interfere with changing out the trans, or DS but I think it would be that way regardless as we have true dual exhausts. The exhausts get in the way of most things. But if lowereing and such it should not be a problem. Oh and as far as waving and waving back I do it sometimes if waved to but I don't offer up the wave first as I am usually to busy loving the sound and experience of owning the car while driving. I get looks and sometimes people taking camera phone pics while driving which is great but the mentality in the metro detroit area is eyes forward and duck if you hear gunshots....LOL (but true).
