To me the Torq tune pulls more, especially down low...cant say I shift sooner though. The performance doesnt seem to kick in really in normal day to day driving....if I get on it into higher RPMs I do feel it though...I guess to sum my impressions up

Torq~up to 35000
Performance~3000+

Now I have noticed that the 3rd gear pulls incredibly hard with either tune all the way through the band.

Since I use the car as my DD i use the torq a little more often but I switch to the performance every so often to make the car feel new all over again. Then switch back and experience the same new feeling again....its pretty damn great!

Damn even with that crappy 60......nice job....you need tires!
That's bad? I thought it was okay. Running the stock 18" G-Force TAs. I was actually a little dissapointed in those times. I ran a 13.69 @ 104.34 with a 2.131 60ft bone stock. Either I wasn't letting the car cool down all the way, it was a little warm and muggy that day (was 88 with 80% humidty the day before), or not shifting high enough. Someone suggested shifting at 6500rpm. I was shifting around 6200-6300 like normal.

for you guys who are using the torque tune, do you have to shift quicker than you would with the performance tune? doesn't it quit making power at a much lower rpm range? also, how much torquier does it really feel than a performance tuen?
In all honesty, I can't feel much of a difference. I feel a little swelling of torque around 1500-2000rpm. There is a difference, but it is negligible. The best way I can explain it, is if you were riding around with a passenger and someone in the backseat, then they got out; that kind of difference.

The ONE thing I am totally blown away by though.....fuel economy has improved by 2mpg. I do a good mix of city and highway driving, and usually only get around 18.9mpg on the trip computer. I went to the track that day and had been getting on it quite a bit with the new tunes, and I was at 21mpg on the way home from the track. The gain in fuel economy negates the price increase of using premium. Besides, I don't feel bad paying $52.00 for a tank of 93 octane gas that is doing something like adding over 20hp and increasing fuel economy, than 87 octane gas at $50.00 a tankful that isn't doing anything other than allow the car to move under it's own power.

60 of 1.7-1.8 would be closer to ideal. The BFGs are better than the pirellis but there are much better street/strip tires. I have the KDWs and there are fabulous....nitto 555 are also great.
