I just put the Flowmaster American Thunder series on and honestly, from the inside, it doesn't sound all that much louder than stock. I haven't really been able to hear them from the outside, but does anyone else think this way? They have a bit of a deeper tone during start up and maybe they're a little more agressive when gunnin it. I couldn't have screwed anything up during the install could have I?

I just pu the American Thunders on my new 07 also and think that the sound is awesome. There is a slight drone from1500-1800 rpm but once you get above that they even out and sound great. When you rev or are at WOT they sound deep and loud enough to let people know you are there but not so loud that it will **** of your neighbors at 6:00 in morning. My only complaint about the ATs is the painted aluminzed steel instead of Stainless but for the price I paid ($290 shipped) I guess that is nit-picking.

dude, Flowmaster is the way to go. Not just any flowmaster muffler. buy the ones that are specifically for our cars, the other dont sound as good. If you are going to run no cats, it will be too loud and sounds like an 18 wheeler.

I definitely like the sound of them, but from the inside anyway, it doesn't sound too much louder than stock. My buddy has a set of Borlas on his and they arepretty loud on the inside. I guess I was just expecting something more like that.

Get the magnaflow magnapacks you will love the deep sound with an h-pipe!

drbobvsSaid it. If you want very loud go flowmaster, if you want better quality and performance go Magnaflow. I have had BOTH!!!! on my car and this is what I have found. I had 40 series flowmasters and they were very loud and drone real bad, I just replaced them the other day with Magnaflow, and it is just a bit louder than stock but they are better quality, and I have noticed a better throttle responce with my car. Not knowing if it was just me, I let a friend drive the car as well with out telling him about the new magnaflow, and he noticed the throttle responce before he noticed the flows were gone.

1.5 years with Flows and still loving them. The people who say they are too loud are not talking about the ones made specifically for our cars. Get the American Thunder series for 05+ and you'll be fine. They arent the loudest of mufflers but are a nice, deeper, improvement over stock.

I had the Magnaflow catbacks but they were too quiet so i go the Magnapaks. If you are going with Magnaflows I suggest the magnapaks.
