I think you'd enjoy an aluminum driveshaft more... $500 and you can install yourself. Less likely to void warranty. Well, maybe. A no loss of high end speed @ the samerpm like with gears.

4.10's in T- 29 hours and counting!!!!!!!!!

ORIGINAL: 05CLASSIC

4.10's all the way!! don't fear the gear!! I couldn't decide what to go with and read every post out there about gears. Finally went with 4.10's and they're the greatest. Having so much fun. Definetly not too much gear. I drive every day on the thruway @80 mph and about 2700rpm. City driving is actally easier and I do use first gear.

Thanks for all the input. I've already got a CAI and tune. Sounds like the 4.10's are the way to go.

Iwonder why ford puts 3.73's in the auto's and 4.10's in the manuals for their drag pack? They should know their own car better than anyone else. Shouldn't they?

Motive Gears 3:90 is in my opinion a good compromise between 3:55 and 4:10's. Thats what i will aventually get. 4:10 I guess would be good too. But not 3:73 for 05-07 GT's.

what drag pack? they put 3.31s in stock, they want to squeze ever single extra (literally 1) mpg out of each vehicle so instead of 4.10s stock they put 3.31s

ford racing makes a drag pack that you can actually buy and have put on your car. <http://www.fordracingparts.com/perfo...ges/performanc epackages.asp>
