First: They dont void warranties. They just refuse to work on problems related to modifications. If they can show your modification was even remotely related to a problem they will refuse to fix it under warranty. So if you put on a supercharger and pump 14 pounds of boost in your 3 valve and blow the transmission, they won't cover it.
However if the radio stopped working they would cover it. There is no cancellation of warranty that happens.
Second: The policy on this stuff is set by each individual dealer. My dealer installs superchargers on cars. They will install any of them not just those crappy Roush roots blowers but KB or Procharger or Whipple. So you need to do business with a dealer that has this type policy. Most of them are former SVT dealers.
I would say anyone who wants to supercharge their car to just do it. If it is done right it won't hurt your motor, and your car will run a long long time beyond the warranty.

As far as dealers voiding warranties, it all depends on the dealer. The dealer I bought my car from says any mods will void the warranty on the particular comonent and its related system. But some dealers will void your entirewarranty if you throw axle backs on. I've known of dealers to install Saleen S/Cs and not void the warranty as long as they do the install and you dont touch anything else.

As far as N/A tuning, I know a C&L Cold Intake + Xcalibratur 2 for $599 is a good choice, Mac Direct Fit Shorty Headers, Bassani Modular X-Pipe and then just keep the Flowmaster axleback canisters he has on it already.
The thing is, all that stuff at the most will put him at what, 360-375 to the wheels? He really wants a super charger, but I know it'll void his warranty.

could you imagine what a wonderful world it would be if that right there would give you 360-375HP to the wheels...i have invested $6000 in mods to my car and i barely hit 330RWHP.
All B.S. aside, do yourself a favor and get a few bolt-ons for now to hold you over and when you save up another couple thousand, go buy you a Saleen S/C.

The problem is this, we all start just wanting minor bolt ons just for the feeling of the extra ponys, now that we got em ... we want more power ! and the solution thats left is getting a SC ! lol
Now i'm starting to think.... what if i just have saved my money of the bolt ons and bought a SC in a future? meh
