my dealer doesnt even put the gt500's they get on the lot or in the showroom just goes straight to the back and on ebay. They told me they were getting 20k plus a car markup. I would have a gt500 if I could get A plan on it I refuse to pay sticker for any car. When I hear that some people are paying in the area of 30k or waiting 2-3 monthsfor a gt I feel bad. I wonder why Ford is in trouble.

The stealerships around here in so cal just raised the markup to 20-30K and guess what - they are getting it.

For those that don't know - there won't be any more GT500's next year so they will end up being very rare indeed. Next year the Cobra will return and the only Shelby specialties will be the GT500KOR and the SS.

The are taking deposits for the KOR for $125,000.00 right now and already have 1/2 of the production sold.

We will NEVER see the GT500's for less than they are now it seems. [sm=wtf.gif][sm=violin.gif][sm=smiley11.gif][sm=imsorry.gif]

Good news is the cobra should be all the benefits of the GT500 just minus the expensive name tag.

I'd defintely think about trading my GT for a cobra, I would for the shelby as well but the price tag just prices me(and most of us) out of the market unless you want to mortgage your house which I just cant see doing for a car. But I have to resign myself that cobras will probably cost 40k-50k much like the roush and I wont beable to afford one of those either.
