If that was the new 335i then that is an awesome kill. Those things are turning out some good acceleration times overall, and are almost as fast as the out going inlinesix M3.

Its weird to read these posts. I swear my GT couldn't kill a Honda on even its best day. I know im a bad driver but I mean it feel likes 3rd gear flooring it couldn't beat anything else that is in third gear flooring it. But if you guys say its possible then I feel better!

nice kills. I've beat an STI running 18lbs (stock they run 13.5) on a roll and i was running 5. I was surprised he kept up as long as he did but by the middle of 3rd it was over. A stock GT can beat a stock STI and EVO (not evo 9 though) if youre a better driver.

are you sure a new gt can take an sti and evo, i always heard they kindof had the edge bc of the AWD but if we can take them stock for stock i would def like to know

The GT will not take them if your racing from a light etc due to 4wd traction off the line. However once rolling they have less power going to the road due to the transmission losses being higher.

If you can stay with them off the line you can beat them. On a roll you will beat them for sure
