There was an article in the most recent issue of 5.0, I recall, ofa guy that did the 427, and apparently it didn't require much, if any, relocation of things in the engine bay. If I had to go big-block, I'd go that route, and who knows, maybe by the time you'd want to do it someone may have a kit.

Here's what I'm swapping into my GT. I'm sure it'll fit fine as long as I don't have a strut bar.

Why not put a $7000 514ci 600hp Ford Racing engine in? it equates to about 8.4 liters!! it has a compression ratio of 9.8:1 so it runs on pump gas, add 150 shots and be done!
You're gonna need a C6 transmission to handle that power.
