RE: Portland, OR area S197 owners...
A friend of mine lives in Aloha and is the Chef at Romig's in Scappoose.
He has an '05 v6.
Not much modding at all, except for the custom Raiders shift **** I had made for him.
His car is black, with white rocker panel stripes, and a grey (silver) interior.
Definitely a Raider-mobile.

I'm up in the 'Couv, but no pics yet, I only got my GT two days ago - Blk on blk, 5sp..
I'm thinking I'm going to settle into it for a month or two before I start planning any performance mods - I'll probably start with a Steeda CAI and tune though.

No good pics yet(once I get windows tinted hopefully next week) but Sherwood here. Mods in sig, bassani;s are coming off just too much drone at cruising speeds, probably put corsa's on instead. In addition I'm looking at delete plates, pulliesand some suspension/brake upgrades.
A_J Thats the biggest bang for the buck right there is a cai and tune it'll be like driving a new car.

So while we're on the subject of S197s around PDX, has anyone found Ford dealers locally that are cooler with mods and warranty work than others? I would imagine that Hillyer's probably is, given all the Slebys and such that they stock, but I'm also looking for the best service department locally.
Any recommendations?

Ya I decided it wasnt worht the extra miles for any kind of service from them once we had the pulley conversation. Of course they would be more than willing to intall a roush charger for you and cover it but they get a ton of cash from you that way. Stay awy from landmark, after speaking to them I decided they would not ever touch my car and thier respionse has never been great as far as I'm concerned.

So long as we're bashing dealerships - I haven't dealt with Vancouver Fords service department, but I got the car from there, and the sales staffdidn't seem terribly organized or informed.. In fact, I knew more about available option packages on the S197s then they did, and all I did was surf the net. Didn't really instill my confidence.
