Thats one expensive '08, even with the options you listed. HID is probably the only thing i would have taken that is new, the rest i could do without or buy aftermarket and get better for less. But none the less welcome to the family

What will the HIDs do for you? I just ordered my '08 today as well but passed on them. $500 seemed really steep since it's not like the car comes without lights.

Its a brighter whiter light. Around 3 x brighter than your regular halogen bulbs. Also uses around 50% of the power to run them. Also bulb lifetime is massively increased. Most places seem to say 10x longer than regular bulbs and a few say they will only need replacing in very rare occurances and will likely last the lifetime of the vehicle.

They dont sound great but once you have had a car with them you dont want to go back they also look better.

I think ur crazy not to order the hids, hids are nice but everyone going to know its a 08 when they see the hids. You could of just got a left over 07; CHANGE UR ORDER, lol.

O, 300 for 3.55 when my 06 cost nothing for 3.55...save up for the 3.73 or 4.10

Yep. I guess now people will have to give a lot of thought to which gears they want in advance. No since inplunking down $300 for something they may just end up replacing anyway.

Man, a lot of opinions on how I spend my money! If you calculate the parts, time & labor this is a great deal. Show me a four seat convertible with performance, warranty and cool factor for this price. I buy meat grinders for 2-3x this price and all they have is a stupid on/off button.

Ambi light is an interior lighting package that looks pretty cool. I have only seen a couple of pictures but I believe I will have on bad ride on delivery.
