Someone just old me that some superchargers come with like "on/off" switch's?
like you can just turn them off when you don't need the extra power...is that true? [&:]

As far as I know none of the SCkits out there come with an on/off switch, in order to doso they'd have to include an electricalclutchand that is too much of a problem and added cost, however they do include (at least twin screw and roots type does) a bypass valve, this will allow you to drive your car normally without producing any boost until you step on the gas beyond 2/3 throttle at this point the bypass valve closes, creating boost and in consequence power. So basically you have the switch you are talking aboutbuilt intoyour right foot. Turbos use a similar method called waste gates, this is like a pressure regulator that keeps boost at a pre set level.

I think I read on the KB website that they have a valet mode or something like that where you could turn off the boost.

Yep, what they do is basically lock openthe bypass valve I told you about.
