we have a couple people on here using it. I think the gain is only like 3-5hp, but for people who have to keep emissions that's pretty good I guess. From what I've seen, the install is pretty simple and straight-forward. Requires some cutting tools, patience, and I guess a good set of jacks.

IMO its not worth the trouble of installation for the minor gains in hp. If you are going to get an X-pipe I would stick with an O/R X pipe or H pipe. Go to brenspeed.com and check out their X pipes and H pipes. If you are in Cali like I am and can't touch the cats I would just keep the stock H pipe because it flows fine and sounds great with just an axleback. Save your money. There is a video on youtube where someone compares the sound of the FRPP X pipe and the stock H pipe and it sounded the same, but I would really have to hear it in person.

I have the FRPP X-Pipe, and I like it. It smoothed out the exhaut toneand changed the sound somewhat, in a positve way I think. The engine seems to breathe better with it. But to be honest, I had this put in the same day as my JBA Shorty headers so I'm not sure which of the two made the change. But in the end I have a better performing car, that retains the cats to avoid any immission bs. For $139.00 I can't see how you can go wrong. Enjoy.

I have it too along with the FRPP GTA and love it. Smoothed out the exhaust tone, made it a little deeper as well. A bit louder at WOT as well. But they are subtle differences, not obnoxious. My butt-o-meter felt a difference when I installed it, not huge, but it was there. I went down this road because I need to keep the sound level under control inside the car, and wanted to keep everything C.A.R.B. legal.
