Back to stock I went

RE: Back to stock I went
+1 on the resonators. Look at Kooks. As far as mufflers, I love my Corsas but if money is an issue, I don't know anyone here who is dissatisfied with their GTA's, esp with an X-pipe like on the GT500.

not to bring this thread back from the dead, but i can't help it. i've got bbk shorties, Bassani catted x and the MAC axle backs. the drone sucked. so i got the summit racing bullet mufflers and had them welded in just after the x pipe. they did help cut the drone, but unfortunately they cut it at the wrong rpm AND my exhaust sound is too muted . jeesh!!! i've spent more time messing with the exhaust on this thing than i care to admit! may just have to take them off and deal with the drone!!!

i want Corsa's soooo bad, i could afford the axle-back, but how hard are they to install? i won't be able to have someone else do it. is it just a clamp on or do you have to cut and weld?

Although I haven't heard Corsas in person, I must say that the Borla Stingers sound outstanding even with the low-mid range drone. After installing the CAI w/tune, they really announce themselves at WOT. Just felt I should give Borla a plug.

Do the Corsa's, you won't regret it.
They sound great when you open it up, but haveNO drone when you are just cruising around.
Plus they are (as most axlebacks) very easy to install in your driveway.
