I have an automatic and ive decided to go with frpp 4.10s, can any1 recommend a site that has them for the lowest price, the lowest ive found was $219.

is the new gear oil necessary?
bcuz i can just get the rind and pinion set from jegs for 219...

yes the oil is needed ...gears aint cheap dude.

I think you should get the whole package from tillman speed.. thats a great price for oil,gears and installation bearings. wish this offer was there back then.

That's a great deal for a complete kit. Oil is $10 a quart and the install kit is usually about $60.

go with motives. ffrp your just paying for the ford name. i have motives and theresno whine at all. motives are a better product. you can find them around for $130-$160

I don't see bearings anywhere in that picture. Looks like the $40 install kit from ford racing. The $90 kit comes with bearings. The minimum you'll need is a new inner pinion bearing and race, it gets pressed on the pinion shaft and normally can't be removed without damaging it. I have my stock bearing and it's nice and mangled.

So why are motives a better product? You know motive actually makes some ford racing gears.

a better overall product, basically the same product but motives have a lower price, therefore a better product. why would you pay 230 for something when you can get the same exact product for 130?
