Default Anyone ever just wanna call it quits?

Well any takers? It seems like every mod after my CAI and axlebacks with the exception of the trutrachas had some kind of issue and I just want to say funk it. After I installed my new D/S this weekend I figured all is well andI'd just make another adjustment to the pinion angle to get rid of a couple of vibesand I'd be good. Well a leaking pinion flange reared its ugly head and now I have to deal with this. I swear after this is resolved no more mods. At least not till I get a second car. Hell I might even put it back to stock.AGGHH!!![:@]

I think the biggest reget I have is not having a second vehicle. I did at least have a roomate that I worked with in case I needed to ride in with him plus he had a 2nd car I could borrow. But he had to move out unexpectantly and now I HAVE to have my car. It just gets so frustrating.

I know what you mean there is always something that is not right with the rearend of my car from gear whine to DS vibration which I am still trying to work out. That is why I think I'm going to switch rearends to this one http://www.currieenterprises.com/ces...ustang9in.aspxwhich I just happened to start a thread on just before reading yours.

Fortunately, I do have a second car. But, I haven't had any problems with any of my mods so far.

Between my new shaft and trutrac my gear whine has almost completelydiminised but now I have a leaking flange. The vibes wern't real bad butI wanted to see if I could smooth her out a little more.If it ain't one thing its another.I saw your thread also. Kinda tempting but if I could go back 1 year ago from now I would tell myself to just go the show route until I get a second rideand can afford lose my car for a lil bit if a mod goes wrong.

I would be in trouble if I were in your shoes my car has been known to sit on Jack stands forseveral of weeks at a time till I have the time to get to it or even feeling like working on it. Thank goodness for the companyvehicle and two other Stangs. Good luck with your dilemma why don't you try to buy a old clunker for these situations if at all possible.

true, but just be glad that your driving a car that most wished they had.

Having a few problems sure beats the hell out of having a ricer!
