Hey everyone, I have been looking for a new exhaust for a while now and I have decided to go with the Borla Stringers. My dad’s friend is a huge gear head and suggested that this would be a good choice for my ‘05 Mustang GT.

But I am having some trouble actually finding them. I have found two types of Borla exhaust that are called “stingers” and also, I believe that Borla makes them for Ford Racing among a couple other manufactures. So can anyone help me out, a link or letting me know which one is actually the “stingers”?[sm=helpout.gif]

If you order the stinger exhaust from FRPP you want to get part number M-5230-5GT (not GTH). Im not sure about the part number for borla but im sure there is an S or something at the end.
You can go to the FRPP site and type in that part number to find the exhaust. If you look at the picture on the borla site the stinger will be shaped like a long cylinder and the other will look more like a muffler.

Has anyone had any trouble with their borla?

Mines been rattling pretty bad. The muffler keeps hitting the hanger, I brought itto a local shop and they bent the hanger some, but it still rattles.

awsome choice, it sounds tough and has good looks...nice Ford racing upgrade, and in my mind the single most important CHEAP upgrade one can do

Havent had any type of problem with my borlas, infact, i just ordered my LT´s 2 days ago cuz i want them louder !

I'm considering them as well, just as long as they are not to loud fordaily driving.
