I'll never go back to axlebacks...had the Mac axlebacks & Mac prochamber...wasn't mean sounding enuff. Took it to the shop & took the axlebacks off. Now I have the prochamber with straight pipes ending in 4" tips. There is no rattle & hardly any drone. Love the mean sound the 'Stang has now

Ok just did it...For $120 Midas removed the stock mufflers... made 2 single pipe sections that clamp on like the old mufflers did (so I could remove easy)...Weldedthe hangers in the proper place andaligned the pipes...I had them extend them justpast the bumper a little so I couldget tips later this week and put them on..
Sounds killer!! No vibration...no rattle..no drone that is annoying..Not much louder then stock and at cruise but man when you jump on it!!IT MAKES SWEET 8 BANGER SONGS AT WOT!!
Some people mentioned bubbly popping sounds...This only happens when the car is cold..Let it warm up and it purrs when you throttle it...In neutal cold it will pop a little when you lift.
I listened to a lot of sound clips of LM and I would say I can't tell the difference...I will record and post sound clips when it stops raining.

UPDATE:
Installed the Whipple 11psi HO system a few days ago and now the exhaust sounds like crap. Sounds like a big Harley taking off under load. Poppy and gurgly when under acceleration. Going back to stock until I find another option..Guess thats what adding 200+HP does LOL...
