Either would be fine depends on what you like. I have 30's on mine and wil be sizing down to 19s because the roads I drive on suck so I need more tire.

I have the axis gtrs which are pretty light for 20sI would assume and the only differenceI noticed was getting a 1/10th of a sec drop in the 1/4(w/o them it was in the 70s and with them the temp was in the low 90s). I'm happy with my performance killers.

What about the Saleens? That is where I got the idea to go 20" in the first place. If I had an additional 20-25 rwhp by going back to 18" or 17" I would do it in a heartbeat, because Im pushin 310 now. That would have me up to 330-335rwhp. Thats just enticing!! LOL

if you like your 20's get a one piece aluminum DS and you'll make up the diff to the 18's IMO

18's look fine on the stock car if you have a bodykit etc they look a bit daft usually. I saw a Cervinis C series mustang with 18's and they looked so small and out of place on the car it actually looked horribly. Now 20's with that kit look great.
20's on a stock mustang look a bit ott to me.

If you care about optimum performance for your car at all..........you wouldn't even consider 20's.
20's are for looks only.....at the sacrifice of performance. If you can't live with that, get some smaller rims back on the car.

I have 20's on my car and i didnt feel a difference in my performance, so the lose has to be minimal. The one thing i did notice it does spin out as easy as it did with the stock 18's, like if i wanted to purposely burnout it is a little harder, thats the only difference ive really noticed. But the look f****** sick!

I HATE 20's on s197's.... People say "they really set off the car" yeah well I just think they look horrible. The ONLY 20 acceptable is a chrome or black bullitt, but still not even close to worth it for the performance loss.

Bur if your willing to sacrifice 8-15whp, then go for it. I did, and I don't regret it. Besides, I have light weight rims and slicks for the track.
