Default Whipple HO - Refurbed & Back Home

Update: Got everything mounted and
hooked back up....took the first test
drive this morning and all is well.

Thank you Whipple for resolving the minor
issue that I had. I am still your #1 fan.

i used some of the down time to finish up my
gauges.....i now have boost, i.c. temp and fuel
pressure gauges mounted in a triple A-pillar pod
and looking good.

If your thinking about getting a Whiple, DO IT!
you will not be disappointed.

I take it you had problems with your whipple? Is this something that is comon? I was thinking of buying this kit, but if it has any kind of problems I might have to stay away from it.
Good luck getting everything back together.

This is where a lot of you guys make a mistake. You should not base any opinions on a kit on how many 'problems' it has had cause I'm telling you now that there is not a single FI kit (or even aftermarket PART for that matter) that has never had an issue on any car.

There are no garuntees in the modding world so it really shouldn't matter if someone had a problem with a kit or part. What you should be looking at is HOW DID THE COMPANY HANDLE THE PROBLEM? HOW WAS THE CUSTOMER SERVICE? HOW WAS THE ISSUE HANDLED?

THESE are the things that really matter when you are dropping your hard earned cash. One install to another can create issues and there's a million things that can go screwy or not on target either by the manufacturer, the tuner, or the installer, but the IMPORTANT THING IS: How does the company stand behind their product and their customers once they've got their money?

From Hammeron's post, I would say that the Whipple team definitely stands behind their customers and product. (congrats BTW Ham!)

Mike: everything is holding up nicely, it's so nice
to have my baby back on the roads and terrorizing
the neighborhood!

ChevyKiller: i couldn't have said it better. it's ALL about
how a company or supplier stands behind their product.

JRM: ok, your the #1 fan but i am a very close 2nd.....
