some mustangs are going to be faster then others off the line anyway...So the guy that runs a 13.5 in one stock mustang might only be able to run a 13.7 in another....someone correct me if i am wrong

sounds good, I think next Wednesday will be open, but if it is in the high 90's or hotter our times will be slow.

This Wednesday is the coolest day this coming week, let me know if you want to go to the track, so I can leave work a little early, I like to get there around 4:30 so the car can sit before we start running.

This is my4th post and was just wondering what a stock 05 GT 5spd would run int he quarter at 300ft above sea level? An average number is cool cause I know theres alot of factors, Reaction time/traction/ knowing how to shift correctly and so on.

If you want to hit around 13.5, then you have to do a good launch(read => 2 sec. or less 60' time). This normally means revving up to 3500 rpm and slipping the clutch. However, not every S197 owner is willing to do this.

also, take your altitude/DA into consideration on your times, as well as temperature. Higher the DA and temp, the higher your times will be.
our last DA on my best run yet (right after mods) was about 5700-5750, with temps in the high 80s to low 90s, and I hit a 13.21 @ 104.4
I have the Steeda CAI with HF Elbow, CMCV's, Underdrives, Mac Longtubes, Bassani Gutted X, flowmaster axlebacks, 4.10s, mickey e.t. streets, and a B@M@ 92 race tune.
At sea level, it should be a low-mid 12 second car...
