If he used a sharpie it will quickly fade to nothing in the sunlight un less you protect it with some clearcoat. I mark things all the time with sharpies at work & I am amazed how quick its gone.

I bought my car here in daytona beach. my wife recieved a phone call from the owner personally. he informed my wife that jack roush would be there between 5-8pm on thursday and told her to bring the whole family. she called me and told me the good news......i was like no way....best part is I got his autograph on my dashboard! was kinda neat talking with him...i grew up north of detroit and i told him that and he said he goesto my hometown now and again for the boating....small world. I have to say that is one of the nicest car guys i have ever met! he will talk to you like he has known you for years.......

Where did you grow up? I grew up in Port Huron and live on the north side still - I'm wondering if this is where Jack comes to boat?

I got to meet Jack at a NASCAR race, and all I got was a Mark Martin hat signed. Jealous. I wouldn't think twice about letting him sign my car, especially the part he has playedwith Ford's, especially the Mustang.

A paint pen? Balpoint? It looks good now but
years done the road, you will be wishin he didnt.
Dont even think clearcoat would preserve it for long.
And now you have clearcoat on your dash? You gonna
remove the dash panel and have it framed when you

yea i was talking to some buddies around here......i had a few say that i should spray a clear over it.....but then that would make my dash shiny.....not happening. he used one of those paint pens that u shake up and it has a lil agitator inside....no sharpie for sure....as for the only negative comment on my post why do u keep coming back? i looked my dash over and i can take that one piece off, that is if i wanted too....someone said that is almost like carol shelby signing the car and he is right.....whats the difference if i took him a ball cap to sign....might get $50 for an autographed ball cap, if i wanted to sell......but how many guys do u know with an autographed mustang signed by jack roush.....besides me that is? i rest my case....
