set off my first car alarm.
So yesterday i got my bassani catted x pipe with mac mufflers put on. sounds great. I was driving today by a dad and his kid, the kid hid behind his dad and the dad just stared. This is awesome. I was in a parking lot and drove by some van and off goes the car alarm. This is great, i love it. How much louder is it going to get with i take out the cats and make it o/r.

Was the stare from jealousy or upset cause your loud enough to scare the kid? Dont know if I'll ever set of alarms but stock is just to damn quiet so its gonna have to get louder

i have flowmasters on mine with no x pipe or headers and everytime i drive by cars parked on the side of the road and rev it alarms go off all the way down the road. i find it fun to go to the local mall parking garage and just leave it in first but hit like 20mph alarms will go off like crazy its really good when ur tryin to impress people that are new to the scene

I have the same setup (plus BBK shorty headers) and setting off car alarms is pretty cool.
Note I got the Bassani kit that let's you swap the cats in and out. Without the cats, the tone goes pretty raspy and I hated it, and put the cats back in.

I love setting off car alarms. The great thing is I can set them off idling! Thats when you know your car is a bit loud lol BTW my setup is Pypes O/R H w/Mac's. I agree that Mac's look badass. I park in a gated lot and every morning when I start her up I set off 3 car alarms that park within 25 feet of me and none of them are next to me
