RE: Do you like your Hurst Short Shifter?
I've had my hurst for alittle over a year now and no complaints, some people claim it feels to notchy to them but I like the way it feels
also after about 2 weeks it felt like it might have broke in because it felt smoother then when I first installed it, also the 2nd to 3rd shift
no problem, haven't missed one yet.

RE: Do you like your Hurst Short Shifter?
One of the best mods I have done. Like others the bolts would come loose, so I replaced the Hurst bolts with through bolts and lock nuts and lock tight, end of issue. I also placed some foam around the base under the boot cover. It reduced the transferred noise up through the shifter.
I did notice the white shifter ball has developed some hairline cracks. I didn't over tighten it, I expect it is from the Florida heat.
Ford should have done something like thisto begin with.
Great addition.
CTE aka Scuba Dog.... :-)

Well then... 13-0 is fairly consistent. Hurst it is! Thanks guys. On a side note, I've heard of people using the other bushing kits. Is there any need to upgrade teh Hurst bushings?
