Squeaks and Rattles on a 2007 GT
I replaced the exhaust with a Bassani X Pipe and Race Axle Backs for the 2007. When down shifting or on low rpms the actual hanger begins to vibrate silly causing a rattle in the hanger. The sound is quite annoying, the exhaust is on snug but its happening randomly and is driving me crazy. Anyone have an ysuggestions?

I kind get the same thing..but my sounds like a grind/rattle or something but its all in pretty tight nothing is loose. I have to go under the car and see if air is getting out maybe the AB is not all the way in to the mid pipes. Mine all started when i was in DC and hit some really bad potholes i think it shook some out of place. but anyways good luck

It might be the rod on the tip that goes through the hanger rattling against the inside of the bumper. My driver side loudmouth tip was doing that and I pushed it back a little and the problem was solved.

I got the race axlebacks and it does the same thing every so often, really annoying and pretty loud at times. I know my set did not have the notch to set against the existing post/**** on the exhaust pipe so they stick out farther than I like. Is that common with these mufflers, I'll be cutting a notch in mine to have it recess more. Sorry I can't either.
