Got a sweet deal...$5800 got me the entire bolt on kit with a free xcal 2 and custom tune. Ships in the morning will be coming 2-3 days air shipment!! Its the black intercooled HO 10psi model...I am frickin pumped!! Will be taking pictures of the install and posting. Anyone else do one of these?

How long does it take to install and are they any snags I should watch out for?

I decided to just re-finance the car to get the cash for the s/c to lazy to save up...Besides debt is the american way of life. Pumped up my car payments about $65 so no biggie really.

Yes I did a lot of research and made a lot of calls to find the best deal and package. Now lets hope the car holds up to the abuse. Also adding water / meth injection to help with the crap 90 octane gas we have up here.

If I can get into the low 12's at the track with street tires I will be very happy.

If you have proper tires and suspension wouldnt a 10 psi whipple do 11's at least?

There is no reason you should not get into the 11's with some practice. But I would put at the very least a set of drag radials on (before you race). It is cheap insurace when you go to the track. You don't want to burn through 1st and 2nd and then hit the wall. I just watched a guy go though 1st and 2nd burning the tires, only to hit the wall when he hit 3rd (automatic). A combination of too much NO2, lack of experience and small street tires put him in the wall. In a fully restored 38 Chevy i beleive it was. With nice paint and everything.

I will be purchasing what you did in Jan/Feb next year (hopefully). Good choice! Don't forget to invest in some LCA's and an UCA, to keep the traction.

10psi whipple should be putting you around 500 hp right? which means 11s w/ the correct tires/susp.
