Default K & N cold air intake

I just bought a 07 GT and am wondering what what the best air intake i can get for it. I have been searching and am considering buying the 63-2565 cold air intake:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...340&rd=1,1

Anyone installed this one? Is this worth the investment or is there another one i should consider?

Thanks.

Are you trying to purchase an intake that does not require a tune? Are you planning on also tunning the car? I would think a better value would be one of the Cold Air Inductions (CAI's) and tuner packages from say Brenspeed. I think you'll be much happier with the results. That is unless your trying to stay away from a tune.

IMO any intake that does not require a tune, has less to offer you than one that does. I personally recommend the C&L CAI/sct xcal 2 tuner combo from brenspeed if you drive stick, or a similar combo from b*a*m*a*chips if you drive auto (from what I hear round the forum they're the masters of the slushbox). Along with gears, it's the best bang for the buck.
...now if I could just take my own advice and slap in some 4.10s my quality of life would improve a thousandfold lol...

a tune on an s197 is like debt...sooner or later everyone gets a taste lol...
I said the same thing when I first got my mustang...but many mods absolutely require one and you'll only get as far as maybe an a/b and UDPs without one...and I guess it's worth mentioning that yes, the K&N and granatelli don't require one either...

If you want a decent intake that doesnt requir a tune then K&N, C&L, and Airaid all make tuneless cai's. Now that being said, in order to gain the full potential from your CAI you'll need the tune.
