Sweet. Hows the sound of the supercharger? Is it loud? Can you hear the bypass valve at all?

The sound of the Paxton, to me, is like a turbo. It wistles a bit at idle and then wide open you really can't hear much as the exhaust is louder. If you get into it pretty hard and then let up you can hear the bypass a bit. My father has a 2000 Lightning and the Paxton is no where near the sound of that thing. Very quiet I believe which is the stealth sound I was looking for. Thanks!

482whp? Isn't that pushing the limits of the internals?

It is but that hp is way up in the rpm's which I do not use very often. I also put some trust in Brents tuning and I could use the street tune he provided which keeps revs at 6000rpm which is in the 450HP range.

How is the Novi for power on the street. I want to get a SC for my 'Stang but the vast majority of my driving is on the street and freeway. I want to be able to power out of a light or be able to hit the throttle in traffic and take off like a bat out of hell. How does your 'Stang feel when you punch it in traffic or out of a light? Your setup looks awesome and Brenspeed has some great upgrades forour cars. Thanks for the info.

Bretstang06 if that is what you want then you found it. The Brenspeed Paxton kit is an animal. The car picks up speed so fast the brakes can not keep up with stopping the beast. I will be upgrading them soon. The one thing I like about it is that you are not making all that low end HP and Torque like the Twinscrews which makes Traction Unmangeable, while they are spinning there tires you will be long gone! To me the Centris are more exciting because when you hit the gas the power builds like an angry tornado and trust me it is a rush. I am sure Heavyg72 will agree.

Completely agree. I love how it builds power but is there when you nail it. Driving around in normal traffic which is what I do most as well the car just reacts normal. But nail it at a light or go to pass someone and you better hold on to your a$$ and make sure you have given yourself enough distance or you'll run into the back of them. Of course I am biased but Brent's setup is great and provides a ton of power. I would recommend giving him a call as he can provide you with a wealth of information on the centri's as well. As Whitemare said, it is definitely a rush!!!
