Duh? Had to learn this from the Ponys
Two years and I didn't realize that there was a false bottom to my second cup holder. Now my large ice coffee from Dunkin Donuts fits great! No longer gets in the way to shift.
Saw this in a post on a 4.0L thread. Thanks 6ers!

Closest to the console. Piece of rubber can be removed, pull up on tab.

I also found out about the false bottom no more than 30 minutes ago while trying to get some keys out of my cup holder.
