whats bad about the heatshield?
It's just a poor design that barely serves any purpose. I think they might have changed the design since I bought mine though.

It's as easy as plugging it into your data link and pressing a button.
Yeah the 93-97 fbods had the LT1...factory hp rating was 275-285 though bowtie boys may claim sandbagging (I had a 93 and it ran the same 1320 the mags said it did, though, a low 14 until I started modding)...it's the ls1's you've gotta watch out for...
yeah they're the enemy in a way but in another way, kind of a cousin, since there are so many fwd cars, dsm's and other imports, euros etc...mustang and camaro are (were) the only solid axle v8 coupes left...yeah don't get too close to the enemy or you might want one, I know that sounds like sacrilege but if someone dropped 20K in my lap I'd get the old lady a WS6 and "borrow" it once in awhile lol...

Check the classifieds here on the boards and ebay, I got mine with the x-cal2 for $200. I just had to buy tunes for my car after that, total cost was $275. Just keep your eyes peeled and you'll find a good deal.

^^^ just get a new one...with used you're running the chance of getting it without the previous owner having reset his vehicle to stock, thereby rendering the tuner useless to you. And even if he did, his tune will be different from yours due to mods, trans type, cpu code, future mods, etc, so you'd still have to pay a tuner (brenspeed bama etc) to email you tunes that you'd download from your computer onto the tuner. Just get a new one...

I have no problems buying used, you just have to talk with the person beforehand to make sure everything is set back to stock on their car. I saved almost $250 and mine looks and works just like new. There is one for sale right now in the classifieds with a diablosport predator.

well regardless of whether you go the new or used route, make surethe tuner you get is one that your tuning shop of choice uses...it would be a b!tch to get a deal on a used predator and then find out that brenspeed uses sct D'OH!
