Default IS this normal?

So I was doing about 1,500 in second, pushed the clutch all the way in, gunned the engine up to 5,000 and tried to spin the tires....Nothing. Not even a chirp.

I think my clutch isnt snapping in very well, but I find that hard to believe since I only have 10,000 miles on it and I drive it like my baby.

Oh crap, maybe I had tcs on.....[:-][:-][:-][:'(][:'(][:'(][&:][&:][&:][&:]

nope. Tried it again. Revved it really high in second, dropped as fast as I can, all that happened was the rpm dropped quickly.

And I made sure tcs is off.[&:]

I think I need a new clutch

that should have read "sputtering" sound....

that's what has happened to me when I thought I should be spining and the engine did not respond as I would have thought.
