Tune ???
Well after a bunch of research on here and elsewhere I have decided on my next MOD which is going to be the C&L CAI with tune from Fred at Evo performance. One question I still have though that I could not find much info on was what is the differences between the different tunes offered. I can choose three tunes from what they have available (87, 91, 91 extreme, 93, 93 extreme and 100 and 100 extreme). Can anyone explainthe difference between the different tunes and what would be best for my circumstances.
I have a 06GT Convertible with an automatic, will never race on track. Mostly city driving with normal driving and the rare get on it to brush off the A**holes. I do want a big seat of the pants difference, but also do not want a beast that takes alot of attention and work to control. Any comments or recomendations on tunes would be very helpful
Thanks
Mike

RE: Tune ???
I would get 87, 91, and 93Extreme.
If you're not going to go to the track, or at least not get seriously envolved in drag racing that 100Octane will be useless. Extreme tunes are probably just like race tunes from B@ma or Brenspeed, sharper throttle response which may be unsuitable for a street car. I'd get the 87 just as a fail safe, 91 as a daily tune, and 93Extreme just to fill the last tune up.
I run a 91Octane tune, and from what I've seen the difference between 91 and 93Octane tune is not very much.
