Default HID ballast install

just got the stangmods dual beam HID headlight kit and i can't figure out where to put the 4 ballasts. if anyone has installed this kit or another HID kit could you please tell me where you put the ballasts and how, i don't really want to drill into anything. thanks a lot

I installed mine right on the radiator support, right above the headlight itself. For my foglights, I installed them on the framerails right under the bumper.

there was still enough room to close to hood with the ballast on top of the radiator support? and did you drill holes or use some that were already there?

Not mounted on top, mounted on the backside of it above the headlight bulbs.

still not quite sure where you're talking about...i found some places that might work near the headlight housing but it looks like i'd have to take the bumper off to drill holes. if you could post some pics of how you have you ballasts mounted that would be great. thanks

you might not have to drill holes, I read on the forums of some of the guys using 3m tape instead

ya, i've heard that but my kit didn't come with 3m tape although i could always buy some. i still don't know where i would mount them though

I used 3M Tape...just stuck them on the inside fender wall, looks clean...
