Maybe the new paxton will cause a price drop with the old ones. I don't think I want to try their new internal oiling blower. There might be problems in the beginning. Putting a hole in the oil pan doesn't bother me so much. You would think some smart guy like me would fabricate an adapter that goes between the oil filter and block so you don't have to put a hole in the pan.

If you're dead set on a Paxton, I'd wait a little bit. I just read an article in 5.0 Magazine and Paxton is coming out with an internally lubricated blower, so there's no need to put a hole in the oil pan. The article says that the superchargers should be available this month, so you may not have to wait too long.

i would make sure u get a intercooler. or save up for one. 380 h.p. which is what u said u would be happy with will only fuel you fire even more. i speak the truth. i did go with saleen which is intecooled. but my first tune was only 380 rwhp. and that was very dissapointing. i just didnt have any kick when i steeped on it, and i am 5 speed and twin scew. now im at 8psi and making 452 rwhp. now i feel it

Shoot, my car has enough kick when I step on it right now, the 4.10 gears really woke it up, but there's always room for improvement. No way i'm putting 450 to the wheels until I have a nice kia spectra or VW rabbit as a daily driver.

Actually, you can get the non-polished 1200 for $2,499 at superchargersonline, so Joeblow will probably do $2,449.

The polished is $2,649.
