Default exhaust cut outs

would it be safe to put cut outs right here

yes, just face them towards the outside of the car, or down at the road.
I am currently running open headers on my car...and nothing has happened yet.

do cut outs replace the converters? or can you run cut outs with converters in between the header and cut out it self?

that looks like a terrific setup, but like ModernMuscle said, point them outward or downward. in this case, as space/clearance would probably be an issue, i reccomend outward but at a 45 degree angle down. but, they should work great!

cutouts can be used with or without cats. with cats, it would probably be an overall easier setup, since you wouldn't have the issue of outside ambient air backing up the exhaust and hitting the hot exhaust parts and maybe even causing damage to the valves. id say put them as far back before the crossover pipe as possible (towards the rear of the car).
