v10 w/p pulley installed today
well i got the v10 w/p today and installed it. it was pretty easy but getting the belt on was a pain the first time. im running the 3.6 on saleen s/c and i have been getting slip so i thought i would give it a try since the new w/p pulley is 1/2 inch bigger, but it feels good, bo slip yet, i can diff tell a difference. i also bought a new idler pully to replace the saleen one because on a squeking noise. i havent had any promblems with it at all. but the cars been driving funny, likes it been slipping a lot and a few days ago started squeking so i figured id replace the 2 pulleys. which worked out becase when i went to the stealership to get the pulley it was 22.70. the lady messed up and when got in the car and looked the the rreciet it said 2.70, so i got 20 bucks off. but anyway when i stated to take the belt off and got the alternator i noticed it looked very crooked and when i unscrewed the top bolt it almost came off. the bottom bolt wasnt on tight enough. so now it straight so ill wait until tommorow to see if it squeks, but fo 21 bucks i would recomend this mod

RE: v10 w/p pulley installed today
Good mod......the v10 w/p pulley is a simple inexpensive way to better wrap the s/c pulley to help prevent belt slip. It also underdrives the w/p a little, but not enought to cause cooling probs (even in s. fla). Also use the stock pass side idler pulley (its a little larger)instead of the supplied saleen pulley which will also help. Now your ready to drop to a smaller s/c pulley........[sm=icon_cheers.gif]
