Default Another exhast question?

I have flowmaster axle backs on now with my x-pipe with high flow cats. I am thinking about getting ford racing performance stingers axle back. I was wondering how much louder would it be? will i hear it alot louder in the car?

It should be considerably louder than the flows. Might actually sound better too. I know flows sound bad with an x-pipe. I don't have any personal experience with x-pipes though, I stick with H's.

LOL! Sorry man, I guess everyone has their own personal taste. The car I heard the X with flows on just didn't sound right to me. But more power to you if you like it.[sm=smiley20.gif]

I am looking for something to be louder. Does any1 know of any other axle back that will be alot louder then my flow with my current setup? I want to stay away from the slp loudmouth just because in a couple of months i am going to be buying long tube headers and a shorty off road X. So throw out some other names that will sound louder with my setup now and sound awsome also with my LT headers and shorty X later on. Thanks

Borla stingers, FRPP stingers, SLP Powerflo's, andMagnaflow Magnapacks are all close to the same design and have a pretty decent rumble on a stock mustang. The Mac's and Pypes Violators will be a little quieter but still sound really good. I like all of these better than the Flow's.

Ok thanks ill have to check out some sound clips. Plus I dont like the popping sound some of the chamber mufflers give when you go with no cats.

flows are deep sounding, my spintech has more of a mid range tone, and I think they are louder than flows, but they do crackle when the engine is cold: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Yp38-0LF-g
