quick question
i was looking at these intake manifolds.
http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/pr...ntake_manifold but some of them say 4.7L or 6.4L. how do i know which one mine is? osrry im only 16 and dont know much about cars yet. im trying ot learn:) |
RE: quick question
None of those parts will work for your engine. You'll have to search for things that are 05-07 specific.

RE: quick question
you can't mess with the intake on these cars unless you're talking about a s/c integrated into an intake manifold. All you can do is a cold-air intake + tune on the intake side, unless you want to consider heads+cams...
yeah when you're shopping online for your car usually there's an "05 up" section you can click on (steeda, brenspeed etc have them) or they'll ask you to pick out your year make model engine etc from drop-down menus. don't mean to bag on you, but your link gave me a little chuckle... |
RE: quick question
i'm pretty sure you meant to post this in the

RE: quick question
On the topic of intakes, I could have sworn I saw an article in MMFF or 5.0 magazine that Comp Cams was coming out with anintake for 05's and up. Said something about a 40hp gain. I have been looking for a while and havent found anything else. Anyone else heard about it?

RE: quick question
my car isnt an 05 its a 67. and it has a 302 engine that was blocked into a 347 if that helps.

RE: quick question
maybe Soaring is getting senile in his old age, lol. I guess make a new post and be more specific about your car. I'm kind of a classic guy so I can help you a little if you make a new post in there.
