RE: UDP Install Time
it took me an hour to install my pullies and i had to take the fan out to install them plus grind alittle bit off one of the pegs of the alternator also with my stock pullies they did not have any holes for me to use a puller so i had to use a punch and rubber hammer all in all it was worth it

You have a 4.6 3V? I believe you should only have 2 pulleys to install or atleast thats all I have is 2 pulleys. Crank and water pump I believe are the 2 I have. 04 back have 3 pulleys I know for sure.

Depending on which brand you got, most only have water and cranky pulleys. You can do it by only moving the coolant resovoir and intake, without needing to remove the fan. First time it'll probably take a little longer 45 min - 1hr 30 min if all goes well. Second time you should be doing it in an hour or less.

given the special tools required (p.s. you'll need an impact if you're a slushbox), the very important torque-to-yield spec for the crank pulley bolt, etc., you might want to just pay someone to do it...that's what I did (here come the rotten tomatoes...better duck quick lol...)

Booo. It's really a simple modification. My torque wrench worked pretty well at loosening the crank bolt. Infact it worked so well it was almost like the damn thing was about to come off! I guess I just underestimate my brute strength. Haha. Anyway besides basic hand tools all you need is the pulley puller, which you can rent from an auto parts store (It's actually free, you just have to give them a despoit in full (like $90) just incase you break it, or don't return it.)
