Take the aftermarket stuff off, since a dealer could say the shifter caused the issue or the power mods did and let them have the hassle. Clutches usually dont just start chattering for no reason, so let them have the heartache!

+1..i was going to state that ealier but the dealer is going to, if he is an ***, blame everything on the shifter....many of the things you state can be related to the shifter not being installed right and the transmission not being engaged correctly in their eyes.

I agree. They're gonna blame it on the shifter. Ford likes to blame everything else other than themselves.

Any chance you've had some heavy rain in the last day or so? My clutch acts all jumpy after a rain storm...very annoying. It usually works itself out within a few miles of stop-n-go traffic.[&:]

i'm pretty used to the noises of American cars by now.

next time you hear a bang, rattle, or squeek just reassure yourself that it's "normal." ... LoL [8D]

Nope, no rain. IfI take the Tri-Ax off I want to put the MGW one on.

I don't see how I could have messed up the install on the shifter, it was very simple. But I will take it off when I bring it into the dealer for sure just to be safe. I'm going to keep the SLP's on though.

I should clean out my throttle body before I decide to take it in though....

so yours saying if the car was stock with a burnt out clutch the dealership will replace it for free? I thought they would say abusive driver and make the driver pay for it?
